Horn Mountain is a 14 well, deep water oil field located in 5,000 ft of water in the Gulf of Mexico. Over a two-year period, Forrest rose from the co-reservoir engineer to the primary reservoir engineer with the longest standing continual experience with the field. His responsibilities included generating reserve reports, presenting to reserve auditors (Netherland Sewell & Associates), reservoir simulation, production optimization, economic analysis & forecasts, updating executive management, and reservoir responsibilities. In 2016, and after surviving a 51% staff reduction, Forrest was transferred to the Houston office from Louisiana.
