Richard W. Hise, P.E., M.B.A.

Richard Hise graduated from Louisiana State University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Petroleum Engineering, summa cum laude. He then went on to Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 1979.  He is the CEO and President of Hise Exploration Partners, LLC and is responsible for maximizing the investor's return on investment (ROI) through HEP's oil and gas projects.

     Richard's Professional career began in 1979 when he started work at Exxon Company, USA as a Reservoir and Subsurface Engineer. He was responsible for the economic evaluation of drilling well proposals, reserve estimates, and producing property surveillance for onshore and offshore fields owned / operated by Exxon. In addition, he taught the Exxon reservoir engineering school to other Exxon engineers.

     He then continued his career at The Hise Company beginning in 1983 as President and Petroleum Engineer. The Hise Company is a consulting firm that provides consulting petroleum engineering and geological services to private mineral owners, financial institutions, and independent and major oil companies. Services include the preparation of reserve estimates, reservoir evaluations, and property appraisals for these clients.

     In 1996 Richard began managing the oil and gas investments / operations of the Pennington family office via a contract with The Hise Company. He has been responsible for coordinating all exploration (geoscience), engineering, technical, and operational activities, as well as reserve reporting and cash flow analyses. Under his direction, Pennington Oil & Gas Interests has successfully drilled and completed 13 deep (20,000' plus) Tuscaloosa gas / condensate wells, with cumulative production of over 100,000,000 MCF of gas and 1,000,000 BBLS of condensate.

     Richard is the Managing Member of Hise Exploration Partners, LLC, where he is responsible for Prospect Screening, Exploration & Production, Finance, Investor Relations, and overall Project Management.
